Emily Southern is passionate about brand messaging, finding fresh angles, and connecting with audiences. Her love of research and learning fuels her work as a digital writing specialist at LeadPoint Digital, where she tells client stories with creativity and depth.
Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Virginia Tech with minors in creative writing, professional and technical writing, and religion and journalism. While at Virginia Tech, Emily published over 50 stories for Virginia Tech News, was a contributor for VT Magazine, and served for 3 years as Lead Copyeditor for the Collegiate Times. In her spare time, you can find Emily indulging her love of travel or getting lost in a good book.
